So how do you sign up there is two ways. First way is to go to kroger.com and click register set up a user name and a password, there are no official Kroger stores in California so just choose a store out of state its okay you can still you the locally at Food Co. After you have entered your user name and password click create account. It will then prompt you to enter your plus card number click on skip this step. Now go to My Account and there you can edit your personal information and where it says ADD CARD right below it says Get a Digital Plus Card Today click on that fill in the information for the Alt Number is what you will enter in the store as your card number like other stores that have reward/loyalty cards. then click save and start adding your coupons to your card. The second way is to download the kroger app to your smart phone and sign up for a card.
How the Food Co. E-coupons work in my experience I went to Kroger.com to signed up for a card and then to the store to find out how all of it works. So per my conversation with the Food Co. supervisor you can use manufacture coupons with the E-coupons as long as they are not identical in price/quantity to each other. For example there is a E-coupon for Herbal essence for $3.00/2 and there is a P&G coupon for $3.00/2 (herbal essence) the Manufacture for $3.00/2 would not go through along with the E-coupon but a $1.00/2 manufacture with the Kroger E-coupon for $3.00/2 would go through which is still a great deal the Herbal essence were $2.49 each using both coupons making the herbal essence only $0.49. Also look carefully at the coupons you load to your card some coupons can be used up to five times! Here is what I got with my Food CO. E-coupon test run!!!
- 5 Motts juice 64oz were on sale for $1.49 each
Final price for the juice was $0.69 each
- Herbal essence $2.49 each
Used $1.00/2 Herbal Essence from Smart Source 8/17
Final price was $0.49 each
- Knudsen sourcream $2.19 reg. price

- 2 Chips Ahoy cookies were marked down $2.69 (reg.$.99)
Used $0.75/2 nabisco cookie or crackers from Smart Source 8/10
Final price $1.77 each
- For a Grand Total of $9.99
